The past two years, I've taught a course called Literary Citizenship in which we examine organizations promoting literary culture in Toronto. Many of the students have contributed entries to a website we've created, literarycitizenshiptoronto.com, that profiles such organizations, describing what they do and how people can get involved. The site will grow with each edition of the course. In the meantime, I’m grateful to the students for their own acts of literary citizenship in volunteering to share their research.
